Robin really enjoyed watching the kids when he first sponsored, what were then called Coundon Cougars.  Unfortunately when the business then opened on Sundays, he was unable to follow them as much as he liked.

In recognition of the support Coventry Aquatics gave to the junior football club, the club asked if they could name themselves after the business, and Coventry Aquatics Junior Football Club was born.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Coventry Aquatics FC and the business parted company and the the club changed its name accordingly.

Some really good times were had and some very cold days standing on the side lines giving support on wet and wintery days were something to savour and only for the brave.
