We are very pleased and excited to announce that we now have on display, wet and fully stocked in our Coventry store our own exclusive aquarium systems aptly named The Godiva, featuring an Aquarium, Cabinet & Sump system. We also have the new updated versions of the Godiva brand asside to the ever popular Standard Godiva. These feature the Godiva Executive and the new Godiva Executive Cube. The main aquarium which is all in 10mm glass is also vinyled backed and you can choose from a black or blue background. The main aquarium also houses a central weir as standard but you can choose to have the weir positioned in either corner or on larger aquariums each corner. The base of the weir is drilled with 2 holes for the bulkheads (supplied). The sump is partitioned in a dsb (deep sand bed) style with bubble stops but again we can make the sump to any specification you want. We can also add top-up sections to the sump when long enough. The standard Godiva cabinets dependent on there size come with anything from a 2 to 4 door design and come in 14 colours including; Black, Silver, Maple, Mahogany, Swiss Pear, Limed Oak, Beech, Alder, Cherry, Light Oak, Opera Walnut & Stilo Walnut and with 700mm internal clearance now as standard to house most if not all compatible skimmers. The cabinets throughout the executive range will have 1-4 doors dependent on their size, for example the 5ft Godiva Executive will have 3 doors. The executive has an 800mm internal clearance and a fuller internal length available for the many extra's you may wish to house in the cabinet. The executive also features soft door closers with a click-on & click-off design and comes with a free choice of a full matching wooden pelmet which is more suitable for use with halides, a slim-line pelmet which is ideal for T5's or LED lighting or a full slim-line hinged hood. Mainly built and designed for Reef & Marine fish-keepers these great systems can be used for keeping any species of fish and due to the sump you can comfortably hide all your filtration and working equipment away whilst increasing filtration and surface area along with your overall water volume. ABS or PVCu pipework is also supplied along with a filter sock. Removable glass cover plates to help reduce evaporation on the main aquarium with angled cut-outs for pipe work and electrical leads are also supplied all within the costs. Base Mats for the main aquarium & sump are also supplied. Complimentary Filter Sock, Waterproof Sealant & Solvent Weld are also supplied. We have produced what we beleive to be a great base model and although we do have standard sizes and standard features listed, we can make your Godiva to any size smaller or larger and add any features and modifications that you may require.

With a DSB Sump 
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 16th October 2009 Due to demand and now 18 months on with over 200+ Godiva's made and in peoples homes, we have had to make some changes and simplify our range as the variables of what we have been offering has made us make on 2 occasions now some very basic human errors, and in that, I am then not satisfied if my customers are not 100% happy.
The Godiva was born late March 2008 with some standard features and we have always allowed some of those features to be changed making the Godiva more bespoke to suit you the customer.
Due to the fantastic demand and growth of the Godiva brand those changes have grown to over 20+ variables which does not constitute a standard range anymore and as such, on-costs had been absorbed but those variables are now having an effect on time management and inevitable mistakes which can become quite costly not only in monetary terms but in reputation also. It has led to us not manufacturing them quick enough within our preffered time frames.
The Godiva was born due to being let down by suppliers and manufacturers not only in general supply but with the limited amount of colour choice and changes that could be made to "off the shelf" systems from major and not-so major brand names.
We took on board all the area's that "her in doors" raised when we saw so many people looking for their first reef set-up or even an upgrade and created the Godiva which we believe removed almost all of those niggles leaving the path clear to own a larger or first marine/reef set-up.
The Godiva is a plain cabinet with laminate fascia to the top and bottom of the aquarium to compliment the cabinet colour.
The Aquarium has a central weir as standard but again can be placed in either corner at an extra cost. The weir has 2 holes drilled for bulkheads in the base of the weir to allow a "durso" style system drain away within the weir to remove the potential "gurgling" associated with standard weirs. The return is via a soft pipe from your return pump to a hose-tail attached to the other bulkhead with a raised pipe to a 90 degree bend leading to a length of tube with 45 degree bend at the surface area.
The standard sump supplied has a minimum of 3 compartments with a dsb and bubble stops. On larger sumps we can also add a top-up section again at a small extra cost.
What we like to think is we have designed a template for you to work with and change within the sizes offered and the alternatives available so you are working within your chosen budget.
You can adapt and use your own pipework but we do supply a basic pipework set which is more than adequate accompanied with a drawing of the parts supplied and how they go together. If you require anything more or anything specific we must insist on a drawing and all measurements and sizes of all items at the point of ordering so we are able to obtain all those items by the time the Godiva is to be delivered.
We now also supply a specific single full sized base mat to fit your Godiva Aquarium.The Godiva comes in Black, Beech, Light Oak, Silver, Alder, Dark Cherry, Swiss Pear, Mahogany, Maple & Limed Oak, Opera Walnut, Stilo Walnut all with silver cabinet handles.No flat packs, No building, No Damage, No Missing parts, simply placed in your living room ready for you to set-up.
